Cathy Pera, Owner and Lead Trainer at The Train Station, is a 1997 graduate of National Canine School for Dog Trainers in Columbus Ohio. She holds training certifications for all levels of obedience, puppy developmental learning, conformation training, and soft mouth retrieval. Partnering with the Veterinary community The Train Station trainers engage in a variety of behavioral training programs. Cathy has shown and titled her dogs in the obedience arena and finished Grand Champion Titles in both the United States and Canada. She is an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen evaluator, has 2 active Therapy Dog International Certified dogs and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. Her many years of working as Co-Superintendant for the Porter County 4-H Dog Training project has given Cathy the experience needed for family training and inclusion of well behaved children into the training environment.
